Quickstart
A short, linear walkthrough for a brand-new user: sign up, add your first deal, and see your first score. For the full reference on any of these steps, see the User Guide — this document deliberately leaves detail out in favor of getting you to a working result fast.
1. Create your account
Go to /user/signup and enter your email. You’ll be sent a one-time passcode (OTP) — enter it to verify. Your first successful sign-in automatically creates both your user account and your organization; there’s no separate “create an organization” step.
2. Finish onboarding
You’ll land on /[slug]/onboarding before reaching your workspace. This is a short setup flow — complete it to get to your organization’s home page at /[slug].
3. Add your first deal
From your workspace, go to /[slug]/add-deal. The fastest path for a first try: fill in the company details manually rather than setting up a CRM import or Typeform integration first — you can wire those up later once you’ve seen the product work end to end.
Add at least one founder to the submission, and upload one supporting document (a pitch deck is the most common first upload). This is enough to kick off scoring.
4. Wait for scoring to run
Once a founder and a resource are attached, Yareta starts several things in the background automatically — you don’t trigger these yourself:
- Founder DNA Signals
- A DNA Score
- A Traffic Light verdict (Green / Yellow / Red)
- AI-written company summary, concerns, founder dynamics, and talking points
These don’t all finish at once — check back on the submission’s detail page (/[slug]/insights/[id]) and results will appear as each step completes, typically within a few minutes for a small submission.
5. Review your first result
On the submission’s detail page you’ll see the Traffic Light verdict, the AI-written narrative sections, and the DNA Score. If a founder also completes the separate psychometric assessment, trait scores show up here too, alongside (not blended into) the AI-generated DNA Score.
6. Two things worth doing next
- Configure your Investment/Success Profile (
/[slug]/organization-settings→ Profile tab) so future scoring reflects your actual criteria rather than the default template — see the User Guide’s Organization Settings section. - Invite your team from the same Organization Settings page (Members tab) so submissions and reports are visible to everyone who needs them.
If something doesn’t show up
The single most common reason AI results don’t appear is an empty organization credit balance — check /[slug]/usage. See the Support / FAQ and Troubleshooting Guide for anything else that looks stuck.
